LITTLE GUN is the story of Mary Leonard, a Swiss immigrant to 19th-century Oregon accused of murdering her husband. Her fight for survival thrusts her into the brutal world of frontier Portland when she determines to defend herself with the law and becomes Oregon’s first female lawyer​ before women even have the right to vote.
